Clearly inspired by the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, the Modern Combat titles have been big hits for iOS and Android smartphone. The Modern Combat games, developed by Gameloft, are an example of this. While smartphone games can't quite reach the graphical heights of similar games for the PC and consoles, a few smartphone titles come closer than you might think to replicating the experience that you get on a big screen TV.
